ANTS we got, now all we need are AARDVARKS

To anyone who has lived, lives or visited Brasil they will know that Brasil has a SERIOUS ant problem. doesnt matter if your house is clean, dirty, if you live in the northeast (hot) our south (cold), if you are rich or poor Brasil got ants!!! of all shapes and sizes and colors. some are so small you can barely see them and other look like they could drive volkswagon. they also come in many colors. some bite others don´t. the tiny tiny ones my dad always called "pissants" (dont ask I have no idea) seem to like the kitchen the best. I have two basic types in my house: "pissant type" and "nocturnal frantics" as I like to call them. Pissants like food,especially sugar,the nocturnal frantics only come out at night and they are weird. they don´t seem to care about food or water they just arrive in droves after dark and sit on the walls without moving. they never seem to get into anything and when you wake in the morning they are GONE as if they were never there! maybe I should start to cover my head in aluminium foil at night as they may be sending dangerous signals to my brain!
