What is Wrong with President Lula?

Last night on Programma do Jô he had a panel of 4 female journalists discussing the recent Crises Aeronautica here in Brasil. They pretty much ganged up on El Presidente and I cant say I blame them.
What kind of president doesn´t even make an appearance at the scene of the worst air disaster in Brasilian history to show solidarity and support for the families of the victims and then comes on tv and says "When I get on a plane and the doors close I put my life in God´s hands" Well President Lula, God didn't elect you, the people of this country did and they expect a little more than indifference and bad jokes about the state of air travel in this country.
Lula´s "good-ole-boy" persona is beginning to wear thin. It worked to get him elected with the uneducated masses just like it did for Clinton, the only difference being Clinton was actually an extremely intelligent man who graduated with honors and was even a Rhodes Scholar. The problem with Lula is he IS a good-ole-boy and apparently nothing else. Now that all his cronies he hand picked to work and advise him in his government have all been caught with their hands in the till and have been dismissed or replaced, he is now backed in a corner.
The new president of France was on the scene of the last air disaster in France within 4 hours of the accident.I am sorry but Lula should be ashamed at his inaction regarding the Tam disaster. No even to mention the air traffic control system or rather Brasil´s reasonable facsimile thereof.
Well only thing to say is thank goodness he cant be re-elected as it seems the people of brasil have a propensity to keep re-electing the same liars and thieves over and over again.
